About me and my therapy practice
I work with adults who are experiencing a range of emotional struggles and life stresses, particularly during periods of change or transition in their lives. These may include difficulties with mental health, guilt, shame, fear, loss, and the lasting impact of spiritual abuse. People often seek therapy when things feel unsettled internally, or when familiar ways of coping no longer seem to work.
I offer unhurried, non-judgemental therapy shaped around you. As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of approaches. An integrative approach brings together theories and techniques from different schools of psychological thought. It recognises that no single model holds all the answers and that therapy should be adapted to reflect each person’s unique experiences, needs, and goals. This approach allows for flexibility, depth and a more holistic understanding of the individual creating space for meaningful and lasting growth.
Practice description
Therapy is a space to slow things down and make sense of what may feel overwhelming or hard to put into words. I offer a non-judgemental environment to explore thoughts and feelings, uncover the meaning behind them, and develop greater clarity and understanding. The work is collaborative and paced with care, supporting reflection, insight, and growth over time.
I work as an integrative therapist, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and adapt my way of working to suit each client. Each client remains at the centre of the process, and the sessions are shaped around individual needs rather than a fixed model. Approaches I commonly use include Systemic, Narrative, and CBT, within a strong Person-Centred framework.
Reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, especially when life already feels heavy. I aim to provide a calm, warm, and respectful space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. If you’re seeking thoughtful support during a difficult time, you’re welcome to take the next step when it feels right.
