About me and my therapy practice

I am a psychotherapist specialising in complex trauma and PTSD, including narcissistic abuse, relational trauma, and neurodivergent experiences (ADHD and ASD).

My work is particularly suited to people who feel that something deeper is shaping their thoughts, emotions, or relationships, even when they understand their difficulties intellectually. Many of my clients have previously tried shorter-term approaches and are looking for a more in-depth therapeutic process.

I work in an integrative way, adapting the approach to each person. This may include working with thoughts, emotions, and bodily experience, as well as using imagination and reflective exploration to access deeper aspects of experience. The aim is not only to manage symptoms, but to understand and work through the underlying patterns that have developed over time.

I hold specialist training in trauma, including certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional Level II (Complex Trauma), as well as training in Somatic Trauma Healing. This informs my approach, particularly when working with trauma that is held both psychologically and in the body.

I offer therapy in person in London and online, working with clients across the UK and internationally.

Practice description

Therapy with me is a reflective and collaborative process focused on understanding both your current difficulties and the deeper patterns that may be shaping your experience.

We pay attention to thoughts, emotions, and bodily responses, as well as how you relate to yourself and others. At times, we may also use imagination and reflective exploration to access aspects of your experience that are not always easy to articulate.

The pace of the work is important. We move in a way that supports safety and stability, while also allowing for meaningful psychological change. There is no pressure to “perform” in therapy or to improve quickly. Instead, the focus is on developing a clearer understanding of your internal world and creating the conditions for change to emerge over time.

This way of working is often most helpful for people who are looking for a deeper therapeutic process rather than a short-term, solution-focused approach.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin to understand what has brought you to therapy and to consider whether working together feels like a good fit.

You do not need to prepare anything in advance. Some people come with a clear sense of what they would like to work on, while others are less certain and need space to think things through. Both are completely welcome.

During the session, I will ask some questions about your current situation, relevant past experiences, and what you are hoping for from therapy. This helps us begin to build a shared understanding of your needs and how we might approach the work.

There is no obligation to continue after the first session. You can take time to reflect on whether the way I work feels right for you.

If we decide to continue, we will agree on a regular time and begin working together at a pace that feels manageable and appropriate.
