About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified psychotherapist, educated to Master's level and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I offer online counselling and psychotherapy for individuals and couples experiencing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, abandonment, complex trauma, PTSD, and the impacts of abuse.
You might come to therapy feeling anxious, stuck, disconnected, or exhausted—perhaps from difficult relationships, eating distress, low mood, anxiety, or years of holding yourself together. Many people I work with worry there’s something wrong with them. I don’t see it that way. Struggling doesn’t mean you’re broken; it means you’re human, shaped by complex and often painful life experiences. I work without diagnosis or assessment, meeting you as a whole person rather than a set of symptoms or problems to solve. Our work is collaborative and relational, focused on understanding your experience deeply, rather than fixing.
Humans live with a tension: we’re alone in our inner world yet we need connection to thrive. Hurtful or confusing relationships and the pressures of modern life can leave us adapting in ways that once protected us but now keep us stuck, disconnected, or exhausted. Therapy begins when something in you asks for a truer, more aligned way of being.
Practice description
Change begins in relationship. I love this work: connecting deeply, listening for what truly moves you and what hurts beneath the surface. When met with honesty and care, we see ourselves more clearly—old beliefs and quiet parts. I offer a grounded space where safety allows hidden experience to emerge, bringing clarity, confidence, and deeper connections.
