About me and my therapy practice
I offer connection, compassion and care.
Meeting you as you are, beyond roles, expectations, or appearances.
Understanding you within your own frame of reference.
Holding the relationship with consistency, respect, and professional responsibility.
Practice description
I am a fully qualified humanistic counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and committed to offering a confidential and ethical service.
I have experience working with adolescents and adults in charity organisations, education, and private counselling, with a particular interest in supporting individuals affected by addiction. Alongside my professional work, life experience has deeply informed my sense of compassion and understanding of the challenges people can face.
I engage in regular supervision and training to support my knowledge and professional development. I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
I offer individual counselling sessions for people aged 16 and over. I welcome neurotypical and neurodiverse clients, as well as individuals from all cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
My first session
It is really important to find the right counsellor for you. Every counsellor is different, so for that reason I offer a free initial online session (or in person depending on availability).
This gives us the opportunity to meet and find out more about each other. You can get a feel for me, ask any questions you may have, find out a little more about the counselling process, and decide whether you'd like to continue, with no obligation.
After the initial free session, I charge £55 per session face to face and £40 per session online.
