Availability

I currently have space for new clients and offer flexible appointment times, including weekends and early evening appointments.

I offer a free 15‑minute introductory call before beginning therapy. This is a relaxed, no‑obligation opportunity to talk about what you’re looking for from counselling and to get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.

About me and my therapy practice

I’m a compassionate, people‑centred counsellor who believes everyone deserves to feel truly seen and heard. I’ve spent many years supporting young people who feel lost or unsure of their direction, as well as adults navigating Trauma, (PTSD) Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Low Moods, Depression, Anger, Addiction, and those confusing moments when you just don’t understand why you feel the way you do.

My approach is warm, down‑to‑earth, and grounded in empathy and authenticity. Alongside humanistic counselling, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the patterns behind your thoughts and feelings, and mindfulness to support calm, emotional balance, and staying grounded when life feels overwhelming.

Another area I am passionate about is supporting athletes and individuals involved in sport who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Whether you’re navigating the pressure to perform, recovering from injury, dealing with a loss of confidence, or struggling with the emotional impact of setbacks, I offer a space where you can feel truly seen and heard.

You set the pace.

Practice description

Throughout my career, my purpose has remained constant: to help people believe in themselves, recognise their potential, and feel empowered to move forward with confidence.

My background in pastoral care, mentoring, and relational support has given me years of experience walking alongside individuals through moments of challenge, self‑doubt, and change. I’ve built strong, trusting relationships by offering steady, genuine support when people need it most.

As a counsellor, I aspire to create a space where clients feel truly heard, accepted, and safe to explore their experiences at their own pace. My aim is to help individuals reconnect with their strengths, understand themselves more deeply, and find clarity in moments that feel uncertain. Above all, I hope to offer a calm, compassionate presence that helps people feel less alone as they navigate their personal journey.

My professional background is rooted in pastoral care, mentoring, and relational support. I have spent many years providing one‑to‑one support, building meaningful, trusting relationships, and guiding individuals through moments of difficulty, self‑doubt, and transition.

My first session

In our first full session, we will gently explore what has brought you to counselling, what you hope to gain, and any questions or concerns you may have. I won’t rush you or expect you to share more than feels comfortable. Instead, I aim to create a steady, supportive environment where you can begin to feel grounded and understood. I may ask a few initial questions to help me understand your background and what support might be most helpful, but the session will unfold at your pace.

I work to the BACP Code of Ethics and maintain my professional development through regular one to one supervision and group supervision on a monthly basis.
