About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Jacqui. I work with people who feel lost, stuck, overwhelmed, or tired of finding themselves in the same painful patterns in life and relationships.
I offer therapy online across the UK, as well as in-person sessions in Bishops Lydeard, with appointments in Exeter and Bristol available by arrangement. I work with both individuals and couples.
Practice description
Many of the people I work with feel as though they are living the same chapter over and over again. They try to move forward, think differently, or leave the past behind, yet somehow end up back in familiar places, facing the same struggles and disappointments. In couples work, this can show up as the same arguments, distance, hurt, or misunderstandings repeating between two people who genuinely care about one another.
Therapy can be a space to slow down and really understand what is happening beneath those patterns. Not to fix you or push you into becoming someone else, but to help you make sense of your experience and reconnect with yourself more honestly.
My first session
I work in a relational and down-to-earth way. That means we pay attention to what’s happening for you in the moment, including within the therapeutic relationship itself. I believe meaningful change often begins not through advice or techniques, but through being properly seen, heard, and understood.
What I can help with
Abuse, Addictions, Adoption, Anxiety, Baby loss, Bereavement, Child related issues, Coercive control, Cultural issues, Depression, Eating disorders, Identity issues, Infertility, Loss, Narcissism, Obsessions, OCD, Pet bereavement, Phobias, Pregnancy related issues, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stalking, Stress, Substance Dependency, Women's issues
