About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative therapist I use a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work together to suit you and your individual needs. At the heart of my work is our relationship — I believe that feeling safe, understood, and supported is essential for meaningful and lasting change.
We’ll begin wherever you are, talking about what’s going on in your life and how it’s affecting you and the people around you. Together, we’ll gently explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behaviour, helping you build a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
Along the way, we can work through difficult experiences, identify areas of your life you’d like to change, and support you in moving toward the life you want for yourself.
People come to counselling for many different reasons, and everyone’s story is unique. You might have noticed patterns in your life that no longer feel helpful, or that are causing pain for you or for the people around you. You may be carrying big feelings like anger, shame, guilt, sadness, or loneliness, and finding that they’re starting to affect your day-to-day life or keep you feeling stuck.
You don’t have to work through this on your own.
As an integrative therapist, I offer a supportive space where we can gently explore what’s going on for you and find ways forward that feel healthier and more hopeful, at a pace that feels right for you.My practice is based in central Norwich, and I offer one-to-one counselling sessions either in person or online, depending on what works best for you. Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place once a week.
We’ll normally meet at the same time each week, giving you a regular, consistent space that’s set aside just for you. I’ll keep this time reserved for you for the length of our work together, until we both feel that therapy has come to a natural ending.
Practice description
If you're feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck or exhausted from holding it all together, you are not alone. I can offer a safe, confidential and supportive space to explore what may be holding you back from living fully and freely. Working with an integrative therapist who listens without judgement, you can begin to unburden yourself, gain clarity and move toward positive change at your own pace.
In our sessions, we may talk about your early experiences, family relationships, beliefs, cultural background, and important moments that have shaped who you are today. Looking at these parts of your story can help make sense of what you’re feeling and experiencing now.
I see you as a whole person — your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, sexuality, and sense of meaning in life all matter. You’re welcome to bring whatever feels important to you into the room, and nothing is off limits.
My aim is to offer a space that feels safe, inclusive, confidential, and free from judgement, where you can better understand yourself and feel supported as you work toward the changes you want to make in your life.
