About me and my therapy practice
I work with adults and late adolescents (18+) who feel stuck in cycles of addiction or overwhelmed by anxiety, low mood or depression. Whether you are struggling to manage daily life or questioning who you are and where you fit in, I provide a space to explore these identity-based challenges. I have a background in elite sports, working with neurodivergence such as ADHD and autism and working with common men's issues such as difficulty navigating romantic relationships, burnout and work pressure.
Practice description
Sessions are shaped around what you need. My approach involves putting the relationship at the heart of the work. I see therapy as a real human relationship, seeking to provide a space where moments of frustration, connection, misunderstanding or repair are parts of the work itself.
Coming to therapy requires courage: it involves entering uncertainty, vulnerability, and the unknown. I value play, creativity, and self-expression, and I encourage clients to express themselves in ways that feel meaningful to them.
I pay close attention to the body, recognising that therapy is often less about “feeling better” and more about feeling more. It is easy to lose touch or avoid our bodily experience. I would hope to help clients re-engage with bodily experience, as I believe it’s the way we engage with the world.
I have experience working with gender, sexuality, and identity, including with young men navigating constraining gender norms. With all clients, I welcome exploration of identity in its many forms — including gender, sexuality, race, and class — while holding both personal agency and the real social conditions that shape our lives.
In simple terms, I see therapy as a weekly, focused space where I stand alongside you — committed, present, and engaged. I cannot promise outcomes, but I can offer my honesty, care, and belief in the value of trying, together.
