About me and my therapy practice

I offer private, confidential psychotherapy for people carrying significant professional responsibility.

I work in the Person-Centred tradition, which means sessions follow what you bring rather than a fixed structure or predetermined outcome. There is no agenda, no framework to work through, no directive guidance.

I work with founders, executives, senior leaders and professionals across sectors, including corporate, creative, public and entrepreneurial environments. Many carry significant organisational responsibility, lead through complexity and change, or operate in roles where the internal experience of that pressure rarely gets acknowledged.

Sessions are conducted entirely online and are unhurried.

Practice description

Before moving into psychotherapy, I spent twenty years in executive and operational roles, working closely with people under sustained pressure. That experience shapes who I understand this space to be for.

Prior to setting up my own practice I worked at MCPS and Mind with people whose circumstances and experiences varied considerably, including those facing significant social and personal adversity.

I hold a Level 6 Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling in Psychotherapy with Distinction from Metanoia Institute, London. I am currently reading for an MSc with a research focus on the internal psychological experience of people in senior organisational roles.

Many people who come to this work have not considered therapy before. There can be a sense that seeking support is at odds with the resilience that has served them well, or that it signals something has gone wrong. There can also be uncertainty about whether what they are carrying warrants it, a concern about confidentiality and professional reputation, or simply not knowing what to bring or where to begin. All of that is understandable.

The initial conversation is a space to explore those questions.
