About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a First-Class Master’s degree in Psychology.
I work in a trauma-informed, person-centred and integrative way, adapting therapy to the individual needs of each client. I believe that every person’s experiences are unique, therefore therapy should feel collaborative, supportive and tailored to you rather than one approach fitting all.
I support children, young people and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, emotional difficulties, stress, grief, relationship difficulties and the impact of adverse life experiences. I also have experience supporting young people affected by youth violence, emotional trauma and mental health difficulties through my work within schools and the community.
Alongside private practice, I am also the founder of ALIVE Wellness Centre CIC, where I support survivors of knife crime, youth violence and poor mental health through counselling, wellbeing support and early intervention programmes.
I aim to provide a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental environment where clients feel heard, understood and empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace.
Practice description
I offer integrative counselling tailored to each individual’s emotional needs and personal experiences. My approach combines person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive approaches within a supportive therapeutic relationship.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, therefore I aim to create a calm, safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgement.
I work with:
- anxiety
- trauma
- depression
- stress and burnout
- self-esteem difficulties
- emotional regulation
- relationship difficulties
- grief and loss
- Young people affected by violence or trauma
Sessions are available online and face-to-face, offering both short-term and longer-term support depending on your needs and goals.
I believe therapy is not about being “fixed”, but about understanding yourself more deeply, developing healthier coping strategies and feeling more emotionally supported and empowered.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss your goals, and begin building a safe therapeutic relationship.
I understand that starting counselling can feel daunting, so I aim to create a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where you can speak openly at your own pace.
During the first session, we may discuss:
- your current difficulties
- background information
- emotional wellbeing
- therapy goals
- coping strategies and support systems

This session also allows you to decide whether I feel like the right therapist for you and whether you feel comfortable moving forward together.
