I am currently accepting new clients.
I offer therapy both online and in person (subject to room availability), with appointments available during weekdays, (weekends if available). Evening appointments may also be available.
I provide a free 20-minute initial consultation by telephone or video call, giving us an opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy and whether working together feels like the right fit.
If I am unable to respond immediately to your enquiry, I will reply within 48 hours, during normal working hours, (unless requested otherwise).
Planned periods of leave or extended absence will be communicated to existing clients in advance and reflected in this section where appropriate.
Please feel free to get in touch to discuss current availability and waiting times.
About me and my therapy practice
Modern life can feel relentless. Between work pressures, relationships, family responsibilities, financial concerns, advancing technology, and the wider uncertainty of the world around us, many people find themselves feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted or disconnected from what matters most.
You may feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, struggle to switch off, feel uncertain about important decisions, filled with emotions you cannot understand or process, or simply know that life feels harder than it should.
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist working with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, overwhelm, low confidence, life transitions and relationship difficulties. I offer a warm, collaborative and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences, develop greater self-understanding, and find practical ways forward.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities and am LGBTQ+ affirming.
I do not believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. Everyone is different, so I tailor my approach to your needs, experiences and goals. I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, allowing us to find what suits you best.
Many people I work with feel overwhelmed by modern life. Together, we can explore how to build greater balance, resilience and clarity so life feels more manageable, meaningful and aligned with what matters most to you.
Alongside insight and reflection, I place importance on helping clients make meaningful changes in everyday life. Therapy is not only about understanding difficulties but also developing new ways of responding to them.
Rather than simply talking about difficulties, we can explore how they show up in real time and practise new ways of responding that can create lasting change beyond the therapy room.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship issues, major life changes, or generally feeling stuck, therapy can help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence and resilience.
Practice description
Therapy offers a dedicated space to step away from the demands of daily life and focus on what is most important to you.
In our sessions, we will work together to understand the difficulties you are experiencing, explore the factors that may be contributing to them, and identify meaningful ways forward. Some clients come with a specific issue they want to address, while others arrive with a general sense that something is not quite right. Both are welcome.
My approach is collaborative and active. Depending on your needs, sessions may involve exploring past experiences, understanding current patterns, developing emotional awareness, strengthening relationships, or building practical skills to help you manage difficult thoughts and feelings.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches rather than relying on a single model. This allows me to adapt therapy to the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit a particular approach.
I place particular importance on creating a safe, respectful and non-judgemental environment where you can speak openly at your own pace. Together we can explore both the challenges you face and the strengths and values that can support change.
Sessions are available online and provide a confidential space for reflection, growth and meaningful personal development. Whether you are facing a specific difficulty or simply want to understand yourself more fully, therapy can offer the opportunity to develop greater awareness, resilience and choice in your life.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and explore what has brought you to therapy.
We will discuss the difficulties you are currently experiencing, any goals you may have for therapy, and any relevant background information that may help me understand your situation more fully. There is no expectation that you will tell me everything straight away, and you are welcome to share at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
The first session is also an opportunity for you to decide whether I am the right therapist for you. Research consistently shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in successful therapy, so it is important that you feel comfortable and able to work with me.
I will explain how I work, answer any questions you may have, and discuss practical matters such as confidentiality, session arrangements and what you can expect from therapy.
Some clients arrive with a clear issue they wish to address, while others simply know that something is not working in their lives. Both are equally welcome. Together we can begin to identify what is most important to focus on and consider what you would like to gain from therapy.
If we decide to continue working together, we will agree a way of working that best supports your needs, goals and circumstances.
