About me and my therapy practice
As an integrated therapist, I draw from CBT, Gestalt, Person‑Centred, and Psychodynamic approaches. No single model fits every person, so integration allows me to meet you where you are and respond to you as a whole human being. Together, we explore your experiences from different angles, at your pace, and in ways that feel natural and supportive.
My work is grounded in respect, collaboration, and the belief that therapy is something we do together. You lead the session; I walk alongside you. Some days you may have a lot to say; other days you may not know where to begin. Both are welcome. Therapy is a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
I often invite you to notice what is happening in your body , not to analyse, but to reconnect with the wisdom it holds. A tight chest, a heavy stomach, or a lump in the throat can reveal emotions that words haven’t yet found. We may also use breathwork when it feels helpful, always guided by your comfort.
If your Christian faith is important to you, we can integrate biblically grounded guidance into our sessions. This is never imposed; it is offered only if it supports your journey. If faith is not something you want to include, therapy remains fully centred on your emotional and psychological experience.
Integration is not about mixing techniques randomly; it is about responding to you with sensitivity and flexibility. Healthy boundaries, confidentiality, and respect shape our work together, creating a safe and ethical space for growth.
Practice description
My practice is built for people who feel stuck, low, or quietly overwhelmed, those who wake with a heaviness they can’t quite name, yet still carry a small hope that things can shift. That hope matters. It’s often the starting point for meaningful change, and it’s where our work begins.
I offer a space where you are met with patience, presence, and genuine curiosity. This is not a place where you are judged, rushed, or told how to live your life. Instead, it is a space where you can slow down, breathe, and begin to make sense of the parts of your story that feel cloudy, confusing, or missing.
In our sessions, you set the pace. Some days you may want to talk; other days you may need silence. Both are welcome. We might pause to notice what your body is holding, or explore what your emotions are trying to communicate. At times, we may use gentle breathwork to help you reconnect with yourself. If your faith is important to you, we can weave in biblically grounded guidance in a way that feels natural and supportive.
My role is not to direct your life, but to walk alongside you as you rediscover clarity, strength, and meaning. I hold the space; you lead the journey. This is your investment, your time, your healing, your growth and together we work toward the outcome you hope for.
My commitment is to offer a calm, safe, and steady environment where you can explore your inner world with honesty and compassion. Over time, we gently piece things together, allowing you to move forward with greater understanding, connection, and ease.
My first session
When you begin therapy with me, our first step is a 20‑minute introductory session, offered free of charge. This initial meeting gives us the chance to get to know one another and explore how we can work well together. During this time, we will talk through what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain from our work, and what you need in order to feel safe and supported in the space.
We will also go through some essential paperwork, including confidentiality, boundaries, and how sessions are structured. After this meeting, I will send you a therapy contract to review and sign. This contract outlines the number of sessions you would like to commit to initially, with the understanding that we can review and adjust this as your needs evolve.
Once we begin our work together, sessions will take place weekly, ideally on the same day and at the same time each week. This consistency helps create stability, rhythm, and a sense of safety for both of us. Regularity is an important part of the therapeutic process, supporting deeper exploration and steady progress.
Following the introductory session, all therapy sessions are 50 minutes in length. Payment is required before each session, ensuring that your time is reserved and held for you.
My aim is to provide a clear, reliable structure so you can focus fully on your therapeutic journey, knowing that the practical details are taken care of and the space is ready for you each week.
