About me and my therapy practice

Before retraining as a counsellor, I spent years in factual television — a career built on being curious about people and telling their stories. In 2016, I transitioned into teaching and coaching people in Compassionate Communication, work I've been doing for the past ten years. These experiences shaped my genuine interest in how people communicate, understand themselves and each other.

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Coaching, and am a Level 2 trained IFS (Internal Family Systems) practitioner and certified Compassionate Communication practitioner. I work within the Personal Consultancy Model, moving fluidly between the depth of counselling and the forward focus of coaching.

I'm not a blank screen. I bring warmth, curiosity and a genuine interest in who you are and what matters to you. I see myself as a fellow traveller — someone who works collaboratively with you, supporting you to find your own answers.

The people I work with often feel stuck — weighed down by anxiety or low mood, or caught in patterns that repeat. My style is calm and grounding. I aim to create a compassionate, emotionally supportive space where you can think clearly and explore without judgement.

Practice description

When you work with me, you can expect a calm, grounded space where you're genuinely heard and respected. I work at your pace, without a fixed agenda — the sessions unfold based on what feels most alive and important to you.

I bring a person-centred approach, working integratively so I can draw on a range of modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems.

I'm curious about who you are and what matters to you, and I work collaboratively to help you understand yourself more clearly and move towards what you want.

I work with adults of all ages, supporting you through a range of life challenges — from anxiety and depression to identity and cultural questions, work stress, LGBTQ plus issues, life transitions, and personal growth. Sessions are a space to explore without judgement. I offer both online and face to face sessions, short term and long term work

My first session

My first session is £40 — either online or face-to-face — a chance for us to get to know one another and to see whether working together feels right for you. After that, I work on a sliding scale between £65 and £90 per session, depending on your income and circumstances. I also have some concessions available for people on benefits.
