About me and my therapy practice
I offer a reflective, compassionate and collaborative space in which you can explore what is troubling you, understand yourself more deeply, and begin to make meaningful changes in your life.
My approach is integrative and transpersonal, drawing on relational, psychodynamic, humanistic, existential and Jungian perspectives. This means I pay attention not only to current difficulties, but also to the deeper patterns, early experiences and unconscious beliefs that may be shaping how you feel, relate and respond today.
Many people come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure why familiar patterns keep repeating. You may appear to be coping well on the outside, while privately feeling exhausted, self-critical, lonely, or not quite yourself. Together, we can explore these experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
I am particularly interested in developmental and relational trauma, emotional neglect, self-criticism, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship difficulties, life transitions and the search for a more authentic way of living. Where helpful, I may also draw on dreams, symbolism, imagination and creativity as ways of deepening insight and supporting psychological growth.
Therapy with me is not about quick fixes or being told what to do. It is an opportunity to slow down, listen carefully to your inner experience, and develop a clearer understanding of the protective strategies that may once have helped you cope but now feel limiting. As awareness grows, new choices can become possible.
I work with warmth, depth and respect for your individuality. My intention is to support you in developing greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, healthier relationships and a stronger connection with who you are beneath the roles, expectations and survival patterns that may have shaped your life.
Practice description
Igniting Minds is my private psychotherapy and coaching practice, based in London, offering a confidential, reflective and supportive space for adults seeking deeper understanding and meaningful change.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, burnout, life transitions, or the lasting effects of developmental and relational trauma. Many of my clients appear to be coping well externally, yet privately feel disconnected, exhausted, self-critical, or uncertain about who they are and what they need.
My practice is grounded in the belief that symptoms and struggles often have meaning. Rather than focusing only on what is “wrong”, therapy offers an opportunity to understand how past experiences, relationships and survival strategies may be influencing your present life. Through this process, it becomes possible to develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience and more authentic ways of relating to yourself and others.
I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, depending on your needs, goals and circumstances. Some clients come with a specific issue, while others are seeking a deeper process over time. We can discuss what feels most appropriate during an initial consultation.
Sessions are usually held weekly and provide a regular space to pause, reflect and explore what is happening in your inner and outer life. I aim to offer a warm, respectful and thoughtful therapeutic relationship in which you can feel heard, supported and gently challenged where appropriate.
Alongside psychotherapy, I bring many years’ experience as an executive coach and organisational development consultant. This can be helpful for clients navigating leadership, career change, professional identity, burnout, or questions of meaning and purpose in work.
My intention is to meet you as a whole person, not simply a set of symptoms, and to support you in developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself and your life.
