About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor supporting people through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, low mood, relationship difficulties, life transitions, divorce, job loss, identity struggles, low self-esteem, self-destructive thoughts and behaviours, and experiences of loss.
I offer a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions openly and feel truly heard and accepted. Together, we will gently reflect on both past experiences and present challenges, helping you to understand the deeper roots of your difficulties while processing emotions at a pace that feels right for you.
I will guide you through a process and help you gain insight, set meaningful goals, and feel more empowered and balanced in your life.
Practice description
My approach is integrative, drawing on psychodynamic, person-centred, and CBT modalities, as well as holistic, body-based (somatic) techniques. This allows us to work not only with the mind but also with the mind-body connection, supporting deeper awareness, healing, and lasting change.I usually offer open-ended counselling, meaning there is no fixed number of sessions. We will review our work together regularly and decide collaboratively how long therapy would be helpful for you. This approach allows space to work at a pace that meets your individual needs and goals.
You will be met with compassion and respect throughout the process. I aim to help you feel supported, understood, and better equipped to move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and emotional balance in your life.
My first session
During our first session, we will discuss how we can work together and explore your goals for therapy. I will invite you to share what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve.There will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the therapeutic process.
You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and we will work at a pace that feels right for you.
