I see clients in-person for both short and long term therapy, at The Axminster Health & Wellbeing Centre, in Axminster, East-Devon, on Tuesdays (daytime & evening) & at The Poundbury Practice, in  Poundbury, Dorchester, West-Dorset, predominantly on Wednesday afternoons and evenings & Thursday afternoons and evening.

I also work with clients remotely, online and via the telephone, offering flexibility for all.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, which means that together, you and I can discover the type of therapy that works best for you. My main training is in Person-Centred work, which is a collaborative approach, and through providing empathic understanding, honesty, acceptance and a safe space free of judgement, you as the client are encouraged to discover and explore your own capacity for personal growth and self-healing.

I work in an open and relaxed way, respecting your autonomy, and aim to build a trusting, safe and respectful therapeutic relationship, which enables you to gain an awareness of what is going on for you and why life has brought you to this point.

I can help with many difficult life concerns, such as - Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Low Self-Esteem, Grief/Loss, Bereavement, Relationship Issues/Separation/Divorce, ADHD/ADD, Autism, OCD, Life-Transitions, Menopause, and coping with Traumatic Life Experiences/Events.  It may be that you just need someone to listen and be present with you.

Counselling is your safe space where I will work with you, at your pace. I am not there to fix, direct or tell you what to do. Instead, I will empathically and actively listen, with curiosity, to what is and what isn’t being said. I will be fully present, allowing you to feel understood and heard, to enable you to explore underlying emotions and thoughts, which can help you to find clarity, as well as coping strategies that may help you.

I hope to hear from you, when you feel ready.
