About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I am a Psychologist, intergrative therapist and a registered Bach flower therapist.

I offer a blend of mindfulness base psychotherapy, person centred, psychodynamic along with the unique Bach flower assisted psychotherapy. I am also a Narcissistic abuse treatment clinician, so domestic abuse and Narcissistic abuse remain close to my heart

Human beings operate from the heart, the mind and sometimes from a place beyond these. Holistic psychotherapy appreciates the fact that each of us constantly move from feeling in the heart, to thinking with our minds, sensing with our bodies and being aware and conscious at a much deeper level. A therapeutic endeavour has to honour this complex and rich human experience. This is what I strive to do as a holistic psychotherapist.

It takes courage and energy to make a change and a safe, trusting environment to be able to do it. I believe there is a sacred stubbornness within all of us, that which refuses to give up. Sometimes it feels like it’s all over, but It is this sacred stubbornness that brings one into a therapy room. I respect this stubborn spirit and invest in making it shine brighter.

This option to integrate traditional, western psychotherapeutic approaches along side alternative and eastern approaches offers a unique opportunity to unravel core issues gently and potently . The therapies can be tailor-made, blended or not, to suit needs. In a safe, judgment-free environment, held together by core values of kindness and compassion, you will be able to address whatever that has been holding you.

I practiced as a counsellor across continents and trained with the Nalanda Institute ofContemplative Sciences and Buddhist Psychotherapy NY USA, under the tutelage of Dr Joe Loizzo, Professor of Clinical Psychiatry.

I hope to hold a safe, peaceful place for reflection and inner work.

Practice description

I offer and hold a healing space for you to arrive and breathe. I value and invest in a therapeutic relationship, which I hope will help you loosen up and experiment with trusting me.

I work to the ethical and professional standards set by the BACP and therefore hold confidentiality and safeguarding as top priority.

I will work at your pace but may also gently nudge you where needed and if it will be in favour of your growth.

Empowerment is a word that I hold dearly and try to set this as my goal for all my clients. So the less you want to see me because you feel better and more in control, the better I have done my job.

Together, we will work to increase self-awareness, develop healthy coping strategies, and untie your inner knots. Everything is geared towards helping you walk your own “middle path” to a more wholesome life.

I do believe in the value of common humanity, I am as human as you and to share an authentic, kind space to explore being human in all its glory and not, is therapeutic in itself.

My first session
