About me and my therapy practice

I’m Liza, a BACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist with a BSc (Hons). I have two practices, one based in Chiswick (W4) and Richmond (TW9), West London, offering both in-person therapy and online counselling across the UK.

I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and bereavement, burnout, anger, low self-esteem, addiction, phobias, eating difficulties, OCD, health anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and many other complex emotional challenges. I also support people affected by cancer or bereaved through cancer.

Alongside my private practice, I work within hospital and specialist mental health services supporting adults experiencing psychological distress, trauma, crisis, and suicidal thoughts. I also work as a counsellor within a cancer support centre, supporting individuals and families affected by cancer and bereavement.

I am currently advancing my specialist training in Adult Psychological Trauma at University College London (UCL), within the Faculty of Brain Sciences, which further strengthens my work with trauma, emotional regulation, and complex mental health needs.

My approach is pluralistic and tailored, meaning therapy is adapted to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and dyspraxia.

I am a BACP-registered practitioner working in line with their Ethical Framework, and I am DBS-enhanced checked for additional reassurance and safeguarding.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute introductory telephone consultation where we can talk about what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether we might be a good fit to work together.

Whether you are based in Chiswick (W4), Richmond (TW9), elsewhere in West London, or prefer online counselling, you are welcome to reach out. Whether you are facing a specific difficulty or simply feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unlike yourself, you do not have to go through it alone.

You can bring whatever feels important to therapy, as no concern is too big or too small.
