About me and my therapy practice
Life isn't always straightforward. Sometimes we know exactly what's wrong, and sometimes we just know something doesn't feel right. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to work through it on your own.
I'm an integrative counsellor working online with adults aged 18 and over. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation. Together, we'll explore what's happening for you, make sense of your experiences and work towards the changes that matter most to you.
No two people are the same, so I don't believe therapy should be either. I tailor my approach to each individual, drawing on different ways of working to meet your needs while building a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship.
I have experience working with adults experiencing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, relationship difficulties, self esteem, identity, loss and life transitions. I also have experience supporting parents and carers navigating complex family situations.
I offer online counselling for adults aged 18 and over via secure online video sessions.
Practice description
I offer online counselling for adults aged 18 and over via secure online video sessions.
Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly at the same time, helping to provide consistency and a dedicated space for therapy. I offer both daytime and evening appointments, subject to availability, and both short term and longer term counselling depending on your individual needs.
Before arranging a first session, I offer a free 15 minute introductory telephone call. This gives us the chance to briefly discuss what has brought you to counselling, answer any questions you may have, and decide whether we feel we're a good fit to work together.
If you decide to go ahead, I'll send you some information about how I work, along with a counselling agreement, before we meet for our first session.
Counselling is a space where you can talk openly without judgement. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply feeling stuck, we'll work together to understand what's happening for you and explore the changes you'd like to make.
I am currently accepting enquiries and offering free 15-minute introductory calls. My next available appointments will be from early September, and I'm happy to discuss availability or answer any questions before then.
My first session
Before arranging a first session, I offer a free 15 minute introductory telephone call. This gives us the chance to briefly discuss what has brought you to counselling, answer any questions you may have, and decide whether we feel we're a good fit to work together.
If you decide to go ahead, I'll send you some information about how I work along with a counselling agreement before we meet for our first session.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, explore what has brought you to counselling and talk about what you hope to gain from therapy. There is no expectation to share everything straight away. We'll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
