About me and my therapy practice
Counselling for a person, not a problem.
I specialise in supporting clients through bereavement, loss, and life changes.
As a visually impaired woman, I understand how life can feel frustratingly out of our control at times. These moments can feel disabling and disempowering, which can unexpectedly leak into other aspects of our lives.
The thoughts and feelings that arise during periods of emotional turbulence and the accompanying confusion, anxiety, stress, and lack of control can feel overwhelming and lonely.
This mental and emotional distress is commonly felt internally too: the body might show signs of stress too, such as tight chest, heavy limbs, sore throat, just to name a few. This is the importance of working with the whole person – mentally, emotionally, and physically.
I have a humanistic approach to counselling, where you are met with kindness, respect, and without judgement. Our sessions will be entirely unique to you: you are a whole person and one of a kind; not an object to fixed. The whole of you matters and deserves to be noticed and supported.
Practice description
I am an Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor, meaning I am trained in many modalities, and can offer a truly personalised approach. Right from your first session, you are in safe hands as I closely guide you through the therapeutic process.
Mutual respect and non-judgement are key elements in how I practice. There is never an apology necessary for bringing the authentic version of you. Whatever brings you here, you are welcome as exactly as you are, without judgement, with warmth, and compassion.
There is no “fixing” here - just the support you deserve, space, and navigation towards making sense of the situation with a compassionate human being.
My first session
FREE Discovery Call: An initial 20 minute discovery call for us to test the water and see if we are a good working fit for therapeutic work.
First Session: Your first session is a chance for us to gently explore what brings you here. During this, we will explore and agree upon expectations for our work together.
