My standard weekday hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm (excluding Tuesdays).
To accommodate hectic schedules and ensure therapy is accessible, I also offer dedicated weekend appointments. If your work or personal commitments make weekday sessions difficult, we can look at finding a consistent weekend slot that fits your routine.
About me and my therapy practice

The goal of our work isn't just to talk about the problem week after week; it's to fundamentally change how you experience your life.
My approach completely strips away the sterile, medical distance that's often associated with traditional mental health support. I work integratively and collaboratively, which means we don't follow a rigid, one-size-fits-all checklist. Instead, we'll look clearly at how your unique processing style, how you view the world and your inner world, unconscious patterns, and the experiences that have shaped you (good and bad!), and develop a bespoke therapeutic experience built uniquely on you.
Rebuilding your internal architecture runs through the core of the work. Together, we'll create a space to safely process what's happened to you, or what's happening in the here and now, to build a lasting sense of resilience and empowerment.
Together, we'll work to uncover the root causes of what keeps you feeling stuck, translating deep psychological insights into tangible, real-world clarity. You don't need a textbook response or clinical detachment. You just need a grounded, authentic framework to safely break old cycles and build a genuinely secure foundation for your future.

Oliver North Psychotherapy is a modern, fully remote private practice designed to make professional therapeutic support accessible and seamless.
I work primarily online via secure video platforms and over the phone, allowing you to access consistent, high-quality therapy from a space where you already feel comfortable and secure.

My first session
Your journey begins with a free, confidential 20-minute initial consultation over the phone or online. This is a pressure-free opportunity for us to connect, discuss what you're hoping to get from therapy, and ensure that my approach aligns with what you need before making any financial commitment.
Once we decide to work together, the onboarding process is entirely remote and paperless. I'll send your contract and an initial questionnaire digitally, allowing you to complete everything comfortably in your own time before our first official session.

Our first full session is less about rigid clinical evaluation and much more about creating a collaborative space to understand your story. Together, we'll explore:
What's brought you here: Looking at the immediate challenges, patterns, or stressors impacting your daily life right now.
Your goals: Discussing what you actively want to change, process, or build for your future.
Tailoring the framework: I'll begin formulating our work together, mapping out how your specific processing style can guide our upcoming sessions.
This initial session sets the groundwork, ensuring you know exactly how we'll move forward at a pace that feels entirely manageable and secure for you.
