About me and my therapy practice
Reaching out for support isn't always easy, and I understand that taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting. My aim is to offer a warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to be yourself and talk openly about whatever is on your mind.
As an integrative counsellor, I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person is unique, so I tailor our sessions to meet your individual needs, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to support you in a way that feels right for you.
I work with children, young people, and adults experiencing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, trauma, grief and bereavement, relationship and family difficulties, emotional regulation, anger, bullying, school or work-related pressures, identity and self-discovery, life transitions, and feelings of being overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about the future. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply want to understand yourself better, we can work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Building a genuine therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my practice. I believe that feeling heard, understood, and accepted can be a powerful starting point for healing and personal growth. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you, helping you explore your experiences, recognise your strengths, and move towards the life you want to live.
Practice description
Choosing the right therapist is an important step, and I believe you should feel comfortable, supported, and respected from the very beginning. My practice provides a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and be yourself, without fear of criticism or pressure.
I understand that every person's story is different, which is why I take an integrative approach to counselling. Rather than following a single method, I tailor our sessions to your individual needs, helping you explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that feels meaningful and manageable.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, I work collaboratively to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where healing, growth, and self-understanding can develop over time. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing, recognise patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what has brought you to therapy, and explore what you hope to achieve. There is no expectation to share everything straight away we will work at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.
My aim is to ensure you feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout your therapeutic journey, offering support every step of the way.
