About me and my therapy practice

Somatic Relational Psychotherapist for adults navigating complex emotions, demanding responsibilities, long-term personal pressure or burnout. I provide a calm, trauma-informed space designed to help you pause, reduce internal overwhelm and find your footing again. Operating nationwide online, as well as in-person in Bristol.

Areas of Focus

High-Functioning Coping Mechanisms: Shifting your relationship to hidden, rigid coping systems or compulsive habits used to manage intense internal pressure and over-functioning.

Relational Strain, Affairs & Betrayals: Navigating the raw, complex dynamics of relationship ruptures, infidelity, family conflict, separation or divorce.

Life & Identity Transitions: Support through major life shifts, career changes, parenthood and changing family dynamics, retirement, the physical and cognitive impacts of menopause and navigating an evolving sense of self.

The Weight of Responsibility & Caretaking: Addressing the physical fatigue, identity shifts and strain that come with holding immense work pressure or supporting a loved one through illness, addiction or later-life care.

Anxiety, Low Mood & Somatic Overload: Tracking and down-regulating the physical impact of panic, abrupt emotional shifts, chronic worry or the hidden exhaustion of navigating a neurotypical world.

Deep-Seated Loss & Grief: Processing the profound weight of loss, including bereavement, pet grief, miscarriage, redundancy or coping with a medical diagnosis.

Our sessions are a collaborative space. Rather than forcing rapid change or dismantling the defences that have kept you safe, we create a deliberate, disciplined pause. By slowing things down, we give your system the room it needs to decompress, allowing you to establish clean boundaries, reclaim your energy and move forward with authentic choice.

Practice description

Practice Description: About My Practice:

When you are managing a demanding life or holding complex responsibilities, your default strategy is often to just keep moving; absorb the pressure, stay capable and keep moving forward. But over time, that constant output overloads your system. You might hit an invisible wall, feeling deeply exhausted, experiencing sudden anxiety or finding that intense irritability surfaces out of nowhere. Simply forcing yourself to 'carry on' stops working.

My practice is built for those who need a dedicated space to process what they are carrying and return to a state of clarity. I offer a presence that is calm, direct and completely grounded; an invitation to step out of the daily noise and look honestly at what is happening beneath the surface.

As a somatic relational psychotherapist, my approach bridges mind and body:

The Relational Approach: At the core of my practice is the understanding that psychological healing happens within a safe, authentic and dependable human connection. I do not sit back as a passive or distant observer. Instead, I bring a grounded, fully engaged and responsive presence into the room, offering an attuned partnership that holds a stable space for your experiences to unfold. Rather than focusing solely on isolated symptoms, we pay close attention to the live connection between us, creating a secure environment where relational patterns, boundary dynamics and deep-seated defences can be safely explored, understood and transformed.

The Somatic Approach: Rooted in a deep professional background in massage therapy, I pay close attention to how your physical body holds your history. Long before we have words for emotional strain, unresolved grief or chronic pressure, the nervous system holds it; showing up as persistent tightness, altered breathing, racing thoughts or an inability to truly drop your guard. We track these bodily cues in session so your nervous system can safely settle and find its natural pace again.
