About me and my therapy practice

Psychotherapy for individuals navigating complex emotions, demanding responsibilities, or long-term personal pressure. I provide a calm, trauma-informed space designed to help you pause, reduce the internal overwhelm, and find your footing again. Operating nationwide online, as well as in-person in Bristol.

Areas of Focus:

High-Functioning Coping Mechanisms: Working to understand and change your relationship to hidden, rigid coping systems or addictive behaviours; such as workaholism, alcohol & drugs, or compulsive tendencies used to manage intense internal pressure. (Please note: my focus is on relational exploration; I am not a specialised crisis addiction therapist).

Relationship Issues, Affairs & Betrayals: Navigating the raw, complex dynamics of relationship strain, infidelity, family conflict, separation, or divorce.

Life & Identity Transitions: Support through major life changes, including retirement, career shifts, the profound physical and cognitive impacts of menopause, and navigating a changing sense of self.

The Weight of Responsibility & Caretaking: Addressing the physical fatigue, identity shifts, and strain that come with holding immense work pressure, family issues, or supporting a loved one through illness, addiction, or later-life care.

Anxiety, Low Mood & Neurodivergent Strain: Tracking and down-regulating the bodily impact of panic, abrupt emotional shifts, chronic worry, or the hidden exhaustion of navigating a neurotypical world.

Deep-Seated Loss & Grief: Processing the profound weight of loss, including bereavement, pet grief, miscarriage, redundancy, or coping with a medical diagnosis.

Practice description

About My Practice

When you are handling a demanding life or managing complex responsibilities, your natural strategy is often to just keep moving, absorb the pressure, and carry on. But over time, that constant momentum can overload your system. You might find yourself hitting an invisible wall, feeling deeply exhausted, experiencing sudden anxiety, or finding that intense emotions or irritability surface abruptly out of nowhere. Simply trying to force yourself to 'carry on' or 'function better' stops working.

My practice is built for those who need a dedicated, professional space to process what they are carrying and find their footing again. I offer a presence that is calm, direct, and completely grounded; an invitation to step out of the noise and look honestly at what is happening beneath the surface.

My framework is grounded in relational psychotherapy, while my professional roots began in deep, structural massage therapy. This dual perspective means I operate with an acute awareness of how emotional distress and prolonged pressure manifest physically. Long before we can put it into words, our bodies hold our history, our unexpressed tension, and our exhaustion, often showing up as chronic fatigue, burnout, hyper-vigilance, or medically unexplained symptoms.

Our sessions are a collaborative space. Together, our first step is to create a deliberate pause. By slowing the pace down, we give your system the space it needs to settle, allowing you to track the immediate patterns in your life and the historical frameworks that drive how you operate.

The objective is to fundamentally alter your relationship to the internal weight you carry. This work allows you to reduce the daily overwhelm, reclaim your energy, establish clean boundaries, and return to a position of genuine choice, authentic pacing, and a sense of being completely anchored in your own life again.
