Availability

Hello, I’m Jason. As a British therapist currently practicing online from Singapore, I offer a unique, highly flexible service tailored specifically to UK-based clients and expats worldwide.

My practice is 100% online. This allows me to focus entirely on delivering high-quality, focused, and secure remote therapy.

Time Zone Advantages: Ideal for UK clients looking for early-morning sessions (before the 9-to-5 workday begins) or expats looking for a therapist who truly understands the British cultural context, or maybe those planning to move abroad, or just returning home seeking support for this significant change.

About me and my therapy practice

I bring over 20 years of senior leadership experience in global marketing and organisational transformation into my work as a therapist. This background shapes how I think about change, pressure, and identity, and many clients find it genuinely relatable, particularly professionals navigating demanding careers or major transitions.

My approach is integrative. I draw primarily on Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt and a foundation in Transactional Analysis, alongside training in EMDR, clinical hypnotherapy, Ego-State Therapy, EFT, and Narrative Therapy.

Rather than applying a single model to every client, I work collaboratively to understand what is actually happening for you, then draw on the approach, or combination of approaches, best suited to your situation. Some clients want a structured, goal-oriented process; others need space to think aloud before any direction becomes clear. Both are valid starting points, and we will find the right pace together.

I work with individuals, and I have a particular interest in professionals under pressure, men navigating identity or life stage transitions, people at personal or professional crossroads, and expats managing the particular strain of distance, dislocation, or the pull between two homes. Having lived in Singapore since 2012, after some years in England and Ireland, I understand that pull personally as well as professionally.

Sessions take place over secure video call. I bring the same attentiveness and presence to online work that I would to an in person room. Voice, pacing, and silence all carry meaning, and I pay close attention to each of them.

Practice description

My practice is entirely online, which means every part of it, from booking through to the sessions themselves, is built around flexibility and confidentiality, particularly for clients managing time zone differences or wanting discretion around their therapy.

Sessions are typically held weekly, at either 50 or 75 minutes, depending on what you are working through. Some prefer a more intensive period during a crisis or transition; others prefer a slower, longer term rhythm.

As a British therapist working from Singapore, I am well placed to support UK clients who want early morning availability before the working day starts, as well as expats and international clients who want someone who understands British cultural context without needing that explained.

Above all, I aim to make the experience of online therapy feel every bit as attentive, safe, and human as sitting across from someone in a room, because in my experience, it can be.

My first session

Before booking a full session, I offer a complimentary 15 minute introductory chat. This gives us both a chance to get a sense of fit before committing to ongoing work. There is no obligation attached to this, and no charge. Good therapeutic fit matters more than filling a slot, and I would rather you found the right therapist, even if that is not me.

Once we agree to proceed, sessions are chargeable at my standard rate, at either 50 or 75 minutes, depending on what suits the work best.
