About me and my therapy practice
About Me and My Therapy Practice
I offer a free 15-minute online consultation.
I’m a qualified BACP counsellor dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate space to explore thoughts and feelings. Therapy builds trust, curiosity, and connection. I support you in reconnecting with your authentic self, deepening your self-understanding, and living in line with your values.
Experience
My background includes work with workplace conflicts, interpersonal issues, vulnerable families, sexual violence, and addiction, which deepens my understanding of trauma, relationships, early experiences, and emotional well-being. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard and respected and can explore at their own pace. Many coping mechanisms develop for understandable reasons. Therapy helps you explore them, understand their roots, and assess whether they support the life you prefer.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling, with a Master’s in Psychotherapy expected in 2027
- BSc in Psychology
My Approach
As an integrative therapist, I combine relational, person-centred, and psychodynamic approaches to meet your needs. We explore your experiences with compassion, curiosity, and understanding.
A relational approach highlights how connections shape us, while the therapeutic space lets you feel heard, understood, and accepted.
My person-centred approach centres you, helping you explore what matters at your pace. Psychodynamic therapy examines how past experiences influence your emotions, behaviours, and self-view.
I also value the role of culture, family, identity, and social influences, providing an open, compassionate space to explore these aspects.

Practice Description
Guided by your goals and reasons for therapy, we explore childhood, relationships, family, work challenges, identity, culture, emotions, and patterns that affect your life.
Therapy isn't about fixed formulas or simple answers. It's a collaborative process in which understanding grows through our relationship. My role isn't to define you but to support you as you explore, recognise your strengths, and deepen self-understanding.
We Can Explore
These are possible starting points for our work together. We can follow what feels most important to you and explore your experiences at a pace that feels right.
- Feeling low, hopeless, overwhelmed, or having thoughts of suicide.
- Exhausted by pressure, expectations, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or ongoing demands.
- Dealing with emotions after a breakup, loss, diagnosis, trauma, or major life changes.
- Processing trauma related to rape, violence, abuse, or experiences affecting safety, trust, and relationships.
- Recognising relationship patterns, over-giving, losing touch with personal needs, or struggles with boundaries.
- Exploring identity, belonging, culture, self-acceptance, self-compassion, and feeling different or hiding parts of yourself.
- Understanding triggers, managing emotions, and finding healthier self-care strategies.
How Can I Help
Clients describe me as warm, approachable, and genuinely interested in understanding their experiences. I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space where you're accepted, heard, and supported. Together, we develop self-awareness, explore patterns, build resilience, and create change. I provide compassion, curiosity, and challenge to help you understand yourself.

Free 15-minute online introductory consultation
The introductory consultation gives us the opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss how I work, answer any questions you may have, and consider whether we feel like the right fit to work together.
I encourage you to notice how you feel during and after our conversation, as finding the right therapeutic relationship is an important part of the process.
If this is your first time looking for a therapist, or you are unsure how to choose the right person to work with, it can be helpful to reflect on questions such as:
- How does it feel to share your experiences and story with me?
- Do you feel heard, understood, and met with compassion?
- Do you feel comfortable asking questions and expressing what you need?

Availability
I work with adults across the UK through online therapy and face- face currently have availability.
About me and my therapy practice
Compassion, empathy, respect, and understanding are central to my therapy. I’m a qualified BACP therapist offering online therapy for adults across the UK and face-to-face sessions. I have availability and offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and whether we’re a good fit.
Starting therapy can feel daunting. You might know what you want help with or just have a sense that something’s not right. You don’t need to have everything figured out. I provide a warm, confidential, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and accepted, without pressure to be anything other than yourself.
The relationship in therapy is crucial. Through trust, curiosity, and connection, we can explore your experiences and understand what’s happening for you. I see you as the expert in your life; my role is to support, reflect, and gently challenge, walking alongside you, not to tell you what to do.
My Experience & Approach
My experience includes working with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, trauma, sexual violence, abuse, addiction, workplace conflict, racism, and family difficulties. I have specialist experience supporting survivors of rape and sexual violence, alongside supporting those navigating addiction and recovery.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on relational, person-centred, and psychodynamic approaches. This helps us consider both your current experiences and how past relationships and patterns influence your understanding, relationships, and responses.
I am mindful that our experiences are often shaped by culture, family, identity, and circumstances. I value exploring cultural identity, family expectations, religion, spirituality, belonging, and related influences on how we see ourselves and the world.
I speak English and Punjabi and aim to create a culturally sensitive space where you can bring all parts of yourself, including aspects that may be hard to discuss elsewhere.
