About me and my therapy practice

Perhaps you feel you should have moved on by now, healed quicker or be somewhere different in your life. There is no perfect point at which you should feel ready, nor a set timeline for understanding yourself, processing something painful or finding your way forward. Counselling can offer a space to work with time, rather than against it - to slow down, feel heard and explore what matters, without pressure to have everything figured out.

Hi, I’m Molly, an integrative counsellor and the person behind Everything In Time. I value getting to know people beyond first impressions. I care about the small things - remembering what matters to you and taking time to understand. I’m naturally smiley, and I believe laughter and lighter moments have a place in counselling too.

Giving things time is at the heart of how I work. We can begin with whatever feels important to you. I won't rush you towards an answer or tell you how you should feel. With warmth, acceptance and gentle challenge, we can explore patterns, make sense of your experiences and discover possibilities for change at your pace.

For me, counselling isn’t about becoming a completely different person. It can be about understanding yourself more deeply, finding your voice again and feeling more hopeful and confident in who you are.

Practice description

I offer online counselling for adults and young people aged 16 and over, providing a welcoming space to explore whatever may be happening in your life.

I support people experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, self-doubt, low mood and relationship challenges. You may be adjusting to life after a diagnosis, experiencing fertility difficulties or simply haven't felt quite yourself lately. Whatever you're carrying, you don't need to decide whether it's "enough" to seek support. If it matters to you, there is room for it here.

A particular focus of my work is grief and bereavement, especially losing a parent at a young age. My own research into parental loss has deepened my understanding of how grief can shape our relationships, identity and sense of belonging.

Grief can bring a deep sense of nostalgia - missing everyday conversations, their reassurance or how life felt when they were here. You may long to return to a version of home that no longer exists or wish they could see the person you're becoming.

Loss can also change your relationships, your sense of self and how you see the world. When words feel too small, we can find language for your experience and explore what you need, without expecting your grief to follow a particular timeline.

There is room for happiness alongside grief, too. One feeling doesn't cancel out the other, and finding joy doesn't mean you love or miss them any less.

My first session

Beginning counselling can feel unfamiliar, particularly if it's your first time reaching out. I offer a free 15-minute telephone conversation where we can talk a little about what has brought you here, answer any questions you may have and see whether working together feels right for you.

If you decide to continue, our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another and begin exploring what you would like from counselling. We'll also go through our counselling agreement, including confidentiality and how our sessions will work.

There is no expectation to share everything straight away or to know exactly where to begin. We can start with whatever feels most important to you, and take things from there.

Sessions take place online, last 50 minutes and cost £55, with reduced rates available for students, counsellors in training and emergency services personnel. There is no fixed number of sessions, and we can regularly review how you are finding the process.

There is time to be heard, to understand yourself and to find your way forward, in your own time.
