About me and my therapy practice

My approach is integrative/relational and trauma-informed, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic and systemic work, meeting you as a whole person, with curiosity and care for whatever you carry, rather than one fixed method. Clients often describe me as warm, down-to-earth and authentic.

I understand the pain of family estrangement and the hope of reconciliation on a personal level, giving me a genuine, lived understanding of difficult ruptures with those close to you, including being cut off or ghosted.

How our early relationships and family patterns shape us, and the connection between body and mind, deeply interests me. You'll be met with care, presence and honesty, as healing happens in a relationship where you feel truly seen and heard.

My systemic background includes over 20 years as a Family Constellations facilitator, one-to-one and in groups, with a strong, trusted reputation built on consistently positive feedback.

I have specialist experience supporting people through narcissistic abuse and parenting difficulties, and have worked successfully with many neurodiverse clients. My practice is LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity inclusive.

I welcome adults with a wide range of life struggles, relationship difficulties, or a wish for deeper self-understanding.

Family Constellations

I also offer one-off Family Constellations sessions, online or in person, and group workshops. Weekend sessions on a Saturday or Sunday are sometimes available and last up to 3 hours. You can find more details on my website.

My first session

In our first session, I will explain a little about how we will work together, so you know what to expect. I will ask what brings you to counselling and what you would like to get out of our work together. We will hold your goals lightly, as they often change along the way, and that is part of the process. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. Most of all, this first session is a chance for you to get a feel for me and to see if working together feels right for you.
