About me and my therapy practice

I provide integrative psychotherapy for adults with bipolar disorder, ADHD and addiction, with a particular interest in emotional regulation, identity and living well with long-term mental health conditions. I work in Central and South East London. I am a Registered Member MBACP of BACP.

----

I specialise in working with adults living with bipolar disorder, ADHD and addiction. These experiences often overlap, and I recognise the complex ways that mood, attention, impulsivity and coping strategies can influence one another. Whether you have recently received a diagnosis, have lived with these difficulties for many years, or are looking for specialist support, I offer a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic relationship in which we can explore your unique experience together.

My approach is integrative, informed by contemporary psychotherapy, dialectical behavioural therapy and influenced by existential thinking. I believe that while diagnoses can provide valuable understanding, they do not define who you are. Therapy can offer a space to explore not only the difficulties you face, but also your values, relationships, identity and the kind of life you want to build.

Before training as a therapist, I spent more than twenty years working in the film industry. This experience gave me an understanding of the demands of creative and high-performance environments, where long hours, uncertainty, changing identities and intense pressure are often part of everyday life. While I welcome clients from all backgrounds, I have a particular appreciation of the unique challenges faced by those working in creative professions.
