About me and my therapy practice

I believe everyone is unique, and I adapt our work together to meet your needs, at a pace that feels right for you. As an integrative counsellor, I draw from Person Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and Transactional Analysis, bringing together different perspectives to support you as an individual.

My approach is warm, compassionate and non-judgemental. I work alongside you, creating a space where can feel heard, understood and accepted. Together, we can explore your experiences that has brought you to counselling, increase your awareness and develop deeper understanding of yourself and the patterns that may be affecting your life and relationships.

Practice description

Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, especially if you are not quite sure what you need or where to begin. My aim is to offer a safe and welcoming space where you can be yourself and talk openly about what is going on for you.

I work with adults and young people aged 16 and over, offering a safe and supportive space to explore what you may be experiencing. I support people who may be experiencing overwhelm, relationship difficulties, life changes, grief, loss and trauma. I support young people and adults exploring their identity and sexuality, including neurodivergent clients. I also offer a compassionate and supportive space for client navigating fertility journeys, including IVF, pregnancy and baby loss.

My first session

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what has brought you to counselling. We will spend some time going through the practical side of counselling, including the counselling agreement and an initial assessment so I can better understand what you need and how I can support you.

There will be plenty of space for you to ask questions, most importantly the first session is an opportunity to see if we feel comfortable working together. If you feel that I am the right counsellor for you and you would like to continue, we can take things from there at your pace.
