I offer counselling for adults in Horsham, West Sussex as well as online throughout the UK.
I have availability for new online clients and can offer day, evening and weekend. I have some face to face spaces available for weekday afternoon sessions which are held in a private therapy room in Horsham.
I offer a free 20 minute online introductory session. Not sure if counselling is right for you? This is simply an opportunity to meet me, tell me a little about what's happening and ask any questions. There is no obligation to continue.
About me and my therapy practice
If you are feeling stuck, lost or uncertain about what comes next you may be a crossroads in life. Perhaps something has changed or life no longer feels quite right but you are not sure what you need instead. Sometimes there isn't a clear problem but you feel a sense that something needs to change.
You may be wondering: what do I actually want? Why don't I feel happier? How do I want the rest of my life to look?
Feeling stuck can be difficult to describe. On the outside you might seem like you are coping but inside you are questioning your choices, going over and over the same thoughts and feeling unsure about what's next.
Perhaps you know what you don't want but have no idea what you want instead. You may be frightened of making the wrong choice or worried about letting someone down. Sometimes we get so used to a way of living that it can be difficult to see any other way. Counselling can help you explore all of these confusing feelings.
My approach is person centred and collaborative. I recognise that everyone's experiences are different. Our sessions will be led by you at your pace. My role is to listen and help you explore what you are feeling. When its helpful I may offer questions or gentle challenge to help you consider things from a different perspective.
Perhaps you have been thinking about counselling for a while but are not sure it's the right time or if what you are feeling is enough to start counselling. You don't have to wait until things become too much. Counselling can offer you a chance to pause, breath and just be you. You can use the space to understand where you are now and to consider what might be next.
