About me and my therapy practice

My practice is built around one simple belief: that lasting change tends to happen when we're willing to look at what sits underneath the problem you came in with, rather than only easing its symptoms.

Most people come to me with something they can already name: anxiety, a repeating pattern in relationships, a low mood that won't quite lift, or a quiet sense that the life they're living doesn't fully belong to them. These are real, and they matter. But often, they're not the whole story. Something older tends to sit behind each of them, something that took shape before you had the words for it, and has been softly shaping your choices, your relationships, and how you see yourself, ever since. That's usually where our work together begins.

Practice description

I trained in psychosynthesis, a therapeutic approach that treats the whole person with care, not just the symptom, but its meaning, its history, and what becomes possible once both are gently understood. Sessions run weekly, 55 minutes, held online or in a private room in London Bridge if you'd prefer to meet in person. The structure stays consistent by design: the same time each week, no fixed endpoint, and no pressure to show progress.

My first session

We begin with a free 15-minute online session via Zoom, a chance for you to ask questions and say something about what's brought you here. There's no pressure to decide anything on that call.

If we agree to proceed, the first session is 55 minutes. We'll talk about what's brought you here, in whatever way makes sense to you, a specific problem, a general feeling, or something you're finding hard to put into words. There's nothing you need to prepare.

The first session is also a chance to get a sense of each other. I'll explain how I work, outline the terms of working together, and we'll start to build an initial picture of what needs to change. I do ask some initial assessment questions, but there is no checklist that drives the work. At its heart, this is a conversation.
