Availability
I currently have availability for new clients.
I offer flexible appointment slots Monday to Friday, across daytime and evening hours, both in-person in central Brighton & Hove and online across the UK and internationally. This allows us to find a regular session time that fits easily around your work and personal commitments.
If you are considering starting therapy, you are welcome to contact me to arrange a free 20-minute phone or video consultation. This gives us an opportunity to discuss what brings you to counselling and see if my approach aligns with what you are looking for.
About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor, trained to adapt my approach to your individual needs.
As a neuro-affirming therapist, my support for ADHD and neurodivergent adults is enriched by professional training and lived experience. My trauma work is informed by specialist training in trauma-informed care and the Rewind Technique for non-intrusive processing of PTSD and C-PTSD.
My work in addiction recovery is backed by hands-on experience facilitating recovery at the Kennedy Street Recovery Hub in Brighton, alongside my membership as a Practitioner Member of Addiction Professionals.
My path to counselling was non-linear. Before retraining, I spent over a decade in tourism and corporate marketing, later running a small natural skincare business. Seeking work with genuine human meaning, and having experienced how grounding therapy can be in my own life, I retrained to offer that same anchor to others. This background gives me a practical, firsthand understanding of workplace stress, burnout, career transitions, and the demands of modern life.
To complement my foundational clinical diploma, I continuously develop my practice through ongoing study. I am currently furthering my understanding of the nervous system through the HarvardX Fundamentals of Neuroscience programme.
Whatever brings you to therapy, our work together is grounded, empathetic, and tailored entirely to helping you make sense of your experiences and finding a way forward.
Practice description
Therapy with me is relational and collaborative. Rather than trying to fix you or tell you what to do, we work together to understand your internal world, make sense of past experiences, and explore possibilities for moving forward.
As an integrative practitioner, I draw on person-centred empathy, psychodynamic insight, and practical tools. I work with adults across several core areas:
- General Counselling & Life Difficulties: Support if you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or experiencing low mood, burnout, overthinking, or low self-esteem. I also help clients navigate life transitions, boundary-setting and relationship dynamics.
- ADHD & Neurodivergence: Offering neuro-affirming therapy tailored to adults navigating executive dysfunction, sensory overload, and burnout. For those with a late diagnosis, we work on unmasking and self-discovery, exploring who you are beyond survival strategies and integrating your true needs, strengths, and identity.
- Trauma, PTSD & C-PTSD: Gently processing single-event and complex trauma. I am trained in the Rewind Technique, a specialised trauma intervention that treats flashbacks and intrusive memories without requiring you to disclose or re-tell the details of the traumatic event to me.
- Addiction Recovery: Exploring the root causes of compulsive behaviours in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment. Beyond stopping a behaviour, we focus on rebuilding a meaningful, fulfilling life and restoring connection with yourself and others.
I offer face-to-face sessions in central Brighton and Hove, as well as online therapy for clients across the UK and internationally. I offer sessions in both English and Polish.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel daunting, so I aim to make the initial process as clear and straightforward as possible. Here is what starting therapy with me looks like:
Step 1: Free 20-Minute Consultation
We begin with a free, informal phone or video call. This gives us a chance to introduce ourselves, briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, and answer any questions you have about how I work. There is no obligation to proceed after this call.
Step 2: Initial Assessment Session (50 minutes)
If we decide to go ahead, our first full session focuses on an assessment and goal setting. During this time, we explore your personal history, your current difficulties, and what you hope to gain from therapy.
Step 3: Ongoing Weekly Sessions
We establish a regular time slot each week, creating a consistent, dedicated space where you can slow down, process what you are carrying, and work toward sustainable change.
