About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person-Centred counsellor, offering a compassionate, non-judgemental and collaborative space where you can explore whatever has brought you to counselling.
I specialise in working with loss, death and bereavement, as well as addictive behaviours and substance dependency. I also have experience supporting survivors of sex trafficking, trauma and abuse, and people who are exploring questions around gender identity, sexuality and LGBTQ+ identity.
I have both professional experience and a lived understanding of neurodiversity, including ADHD and autism, as I am neurodiverse myself. I understand that everyone's experience is different, and I aim to create a space where you don't have to mask or explain yourself perfectly.
I work with adults aged 18 and over around a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, post-traumatic stress, relationships, self-esteem, identity, mood difficulties, health and disability, work-related difficulties, redundancy, change, personal development and life transitions. I also welcome clients exploring spirituality, sexuality, gender identity and the many other aspects of who we are.
If you are finding yourself becoming emotionally reliant on AI, using it for reassurance or decision-making, or questioning how your relationship with AI is affecting your self-esteem, anxiety or sense of self, this is also something we can explore together without judgement.
My approach is tailored to you.
Practice description
My approach is tailored to each individual.
I offer both short- and long-term counselling, with sessions available weekly or fortnightly. Sessions are 50 minutes and can be offered face-to-face, online via video, or through walk-and-talk therapy.
I also work with organisations where appropriate.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute video call if you are considering counselling and wish to see whether we might be a good fit. This is an opportunity to briefly talk about what you're looking for, ask any questions you may have, and get a feel for how I work before deciding whether you'd like to arrange ongoing sessions.
