I’m Anna, a BACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I provide a supportive space where you can explore life’s challenges and find a way forward at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re feeling anxious, stuck, or simply need someone to talk things through with, therapy can provide a calm place to pause and reconnect with yourself.
As a Dutch-born counsellor and mum who has lived across cultures, I understand how identity, belonging, family, and life changes can shape how we feel and relate to others.
I have a particular interest in supporting people through separation, divorce, and grief — times when life can feel uncertain and it may be hard to see what comes next. Whilst I am drawn to this, I also work with a wide range of issues and have supported clients navigating a variety of life experiences.
Therapy can offer a gentle space to make sense of what you’re experiencing and reconnect with yourself.
Practice description
As an integrative counsellor grounded in a person‑centred approach, I place the therapeutic relationship at the heart of my work. I believe that change happens through connection — through being met with warmth, honesty, and genuine presence.
I draw from different modalities to meet each client's individual needs and adapt sessions accordingly. My aim during sessions is to offer a calm, safe space where you can explore your experiences and realign with what is important to you.
I have supported people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, identity, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, grief, and periods of transition, tailoring sessions to each individual needs. I offer a non-judgemental space, shaped by professional training and lived experience, where you can explore what matters to you at a pace that feels comfortable.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minute informal introductory call to give you the opportunity to ask any questions, understand how we can work together and decide whether I am the right therapist for you.
In our early sessions, we’ll spend time understanding what has brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping for, creating a foundation we can build on together.
