About me and my therapy practice
My therapeutic approach is known as person-centred, meaning that as a therapist I actively listen to understand problems and challenges that are causing clients emotional difficulties, remaining within your frame of reference and working to develop a trusting, non judgemental and safe therapeutic relationship.
I work with clients in a compassionate and sensitive way, working with them to understand their perspective, and working to explore personal experiences and how they impact them. With this I am able to support clients to find ways to achieve calm in their life, understanding their reactions to trauma and challenges, helping them find ways to manage and providing them the ability to regain a sense of control and understanding over their own own life.
I pride myself in embracing difference and diversity, and I welcome all into my private practice. I offer an environment where clients are able to feel safe and at ease, using my formal training to support them to explore your emotions.
I work within the BACP Ethical Framework, ensuring safe therapeutic practice with my clients, adhering to supervision and GDPR regulations.
Practice description
