About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative psychotherapist with extensive clinical experience spanning the NHS, private practice, and educational institutions.
Practice description
My practice is grounded in a versatile, integrative framework that combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Systemic, and Person-Centred modalities. This ensures treatment plans are tailor-made to suit individual clients.
I have worked with children, adults, and couples, with a dedicated focus on individuals navigating Complex PTSD, trauma, and other severe mental health conditions, such as OCD and personality disorders.
I believe that working collaboratively is the best way to practice, and I encourage clients to discuss their preferences around therapy.
I have both graduate and post-graduate qualifications in the area of Psychology, Counselling, and Psychotherapy.
Committed to delivering advanced trauma-informed care, I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through the EMDR Europe Association.
Besides regular clinical practice, I have also worked in academia, delivering lectures in psychology and counselling.
My first session
During our first session, we will explore what brought you to therapy, your goals for therapy, and take a brief history. This will help us build a tailored treatment plan for you.
I will also note any health or safety aspects to ensure you are well supported.
Together, we will discuss different therapeutic approaches to see what fits you best, and I will answer any questions you might have.
Finally, if you would like an immediate coping skill, such as a grounding technique, I can provide one during the session.

CBT, EMDR, Humanistic, Narrative therapy, Person centred, Psychodynamic, Solution focused brief therapy, Systemic
