About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person-Centred Counsellor offering a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing when given the right environment and therapeutic relationship.
My approach is deeply empathic and gentle, allowing clients to explore their experiences at their own pace and in a way that feels safe for them. I specialise in grief and bereavement counselling, supporting individuals through loss, life transitions, and the complex emotions that can accompany them.
Alongside my work with grief, I have experience supporting clients affected by trauma, sexual abuse, depression, and anxiety. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help, and I am committed to providing a confidential and supportive space where you can begin to make sense of your experiences and move towards greater wellbeing.
Whether you are coping with loss, struggling with overwhelming emotions, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey.
Practice description
If we decide to work together, you can expect a Person-Centred approach in our sessions. This means that our work will be unhurried, gentle, and led by what feels important for you to bring. I believe that, given the right conditions, each of us has an inner capacity for understanding, growth, and healing.
My role is to sit alongside you as you explore what is happening in your life, at a pace that feels safe for you. Together, we can gently look at your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, helping you to make sense of them in a way that feels meaningful to you.
I won’t tell you what to do, give advice, or offer quick solutions. Instead, I will meet you with warmth, care, and respect, giving you room to talk openly and feel truly listened to. Over time, this can help you develop a stronger sense of yourself, so that you feel more able to trust your own understanding and find your own way forward.
