About me and my therapy practice
Supporting adolescents, adults and families through anxiety, burnout, neurodivergence, loss and life's transitions.
Life can often feel overwhelming, whether you are facing anxiety, depression, burnout, loss, or relationship challenges, especially in today's demanding world filled with family expectations. You don't have to navigate these difficulties alone. I offer psychotherapy and mental health support for adolescents, adults, and families. My goal is to help individuals build emotional resilience, develop confidence, and better understand themselves during significant transitions. Whether you’re a working professional struggling with perfectionism or a parent concerned about your child's wellbeing, together we can explore these challenges and develop strategies to work through them.
As both a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and a Registered Mental Health Nurse, I combine comprehensive mental health assessment with compassionate, evidence-informed psychotherapy. As an experienced clinician with a proven track record of change from referral to ending in both the NHS and education setting, my approach goes beyond treating symptoms. My training at Tavistock and Birkbeck University involves a deeper form of listening, tuning into conscious and unconscious patterns that may be keeping you or your family stuck. We build a shared understanding that leads to meaningful, lasting change.
I also offer ADHD-informed screening and clinical assessment (within my professional scope of practice), parent consultations, and therapeutic support for families navigating neurodivergence and emotional challenges. When specialist medical assessment or medication is appropriate for the child, I work collaboratively with GPs, paediatricians and psychiatrists to ensure you receive the right care.
I provide a compassionate, collaborative and professional space where individuals and families feel understood, supported and empowered to move forward with greater confidence, resilience and hope.
Practice description
As a Child and Adult Psychotherapist, I provide mental health support for adolescents, adults, families and children experiencing anxiety, burnout, grief and loss, neurodivergence, relationship difficulties and significant life transitions.
My particular passion is working with adolescents. I provide a calm, non-judgemental space where young people can feel heard and understood while exploring anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem, identity, relationships and the challenges associated with ADHD or autism. I also work with parents, helping them understand and support their child as they navigate their own emotions and concerns.
Alongside this, I support adults—particularly professionals experiencing burnout, anxiety, overwhelm, relationship difficulties or loss. You may appear to be coping on the outside while privately feeling exhausted, disconnected or unable to switch off. Therapy can help you understand what is happening beneath the surface and find a more sustainable way forward.
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse and Psychotherapist, I combine clinical mental health experience with a compassionate, psychologically informed approach. I also offer ADHD-informed screening and assessment within my professional scope, as well as parent consultations and therapeutic support after diagnosis.
I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to you. I will listen carefully, help you make sense of your experiences and work with you towards greater self-understanding, resilience and meaningful change.
My first session
Committing to the first four consultation sessions is essential to determine whether we are a good match. At the end, we review together and agree on how to proceed. These four sessions will be charged as with subsequent sessions.
I offer 4 sessions to determine which therapeutic modality is appropriate for you. If you already have a particular therapeutic modality in mind, we discuss this during the initial consultation. I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy, CBT, DBT and counselling. I offer both short-term and long-term psychotherapy. All therapy is offered in a minimum of 24 sessions; after that, it is client-driven. I offer both online and in-person therapy. I provide support in negotiating with employers and schools to allow consistent, regular time to look after your mental health.
