My first session
I provide a free, no-obligation 15 minute assessment either online or by phone to determine whether we move forward to an initial consultation. The initial session lasts for 50 minutes at a reduced rate of £20.00. During this session, we explore what brings you to therapy and what the therapy goals are. I will gather some background information, and address any administrative details and if we together decide to proceed, we will contract for 10 sessions and then review. Therapy is weekly at a set time and day.
Please note: walk and talk therapy runs from March to October.
Types of therapy
Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Relational, Trauma informed.
About me and my therapy practice
My approach is trauma‑informed, relational, and rooted in psychosynthesis. I pay attention to attachment dynamics, nervous system responses, and the different parts of you that developed to cope, belong, or stay connected.
I am both gentle and direct, and I believe therapy doesn’t need to feel clinical or performative. There is space for humour, joy, rage and silence. At the heart of my work is a respect for complexity. People are rarely one thing. Families are rarely simple. Change is rarely linear. And this is a place where all of you is welcome.
You may come wanting change. To feel different. My approach is not about fixing you, you do not need to be fixed! It is about developing a different relationship with the parts of you that feel reactive, stuck, or exhausted, with steadiness, curiosity, and respect.
Depending on your needs and goals for therapy, our work may include a psycho education approach incorporating breathwork, mindfulness, grounding techniques and other evidence-based therapeutic tools to help you understand yourself and manage different emotional responses.
Practice description
I am based in London and Cambridge offering in- person and online counselling to adults in the UK and beyond.
I understand that finding the right counsellor can feel daunting.
Our first session is a chance for us to meet and talk about what brings you to counselling, and see if we are a good fit.
Counselling is usually open-ended, but I also offer 10 session blocks. These are ideal for people who would like to work on a very specific issue, have limited time available or prefer more control over the cost of their therapy.
Cancellation policy:
I have a 24- hour cancellation notice policy. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or missed appointments, will be charged, unless there are mitigating circumstances.
Payments are made securely by bank transfer.
Many people come to therapy because life feels harder than it used to, or because they want to understand themselves better and make different choices.
I have a particular interest in working with:
Anxiety OCD Depression and Low Mood: Exploring overwhelming thoughts, emotions, and patterns that affect your everyday life.
Low Self-Esteem and low Confidence: Understanding self-criticism, building self-worth, and developing a kinder relationship with yourself.
Relationship Difficulties: Exploring communication, boundaries, attachment patterns, and how past experiences may influence relationships.
Domestic abuse and Trauma: Exploring how patterns may influencing your current thoughts, behaviours and relationships.

I am both gentle and direct, and I believe therapy doesn’t need to feel clinical or performative. There is space for humour, joy, rage, silence, and tears that may not yet make sense. At the heart of my work is a respect for complexity. People are rarely one thing. Change is rarely linear. And this is a place where all of that is welcome.
I see safety as something we build together. We will pay attention to what feels steady and what doesn’t, notice when something feels too much, and move at a pace that respects your nervous system. Safety isn’t assumed; it’s developed, relationally.
