About me and my therapy practice

I offer a warm and non-judgemental space where you can slow down, talk openly and explore what is happening in your life.

You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship or family difficulties, trauma, loss, low self-esteem or a period of change. Or you may simply feel stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself, without knowing exactly why. You don't need to arrive knowing what you want to work on, we can explore this together.

I am an integrative counsellor, which means I adapt the way I work to you rather than following one fixed approach. We might explore what is happening now, your relationships, past experiences or patterns that may be affecting you today.

As an artist, I can also bring creative approaches into our sessions when words don't feel enough. This could be through images, drawing, colour, metaphor or clay. There is no pressure to use art and no artistic experience is needed.

I offer counselling to adults in English and French, face-to-face and online. I welcome people of all backgrounds, identities and experiences.

Practice description

Our sessions are a space for you. You can come with something specific you want to explore, or simply with a feeling that something isn't quite right. We can start from wherever you are.

I work collaboratively and at your pace. I may offer questions, reflections or creative invitations to help you explore your experiences in a different way, but I won't tell you what you should do. Together, we can become curious about your feelings, relationships and patterns, and what you might need.

Talking can always remain at the centre of our sessions. If it feels helpful, we can also use creative materials as another way of expressing something that may be difficult to put into words. This is about exploration, not making "good art".

Most importantly, I aim to offer a relationship where you can feel heard, respected and able to be yourself. Therapy can be a place to understand yourself more deeply, recognise your own resources and find a way forward that feels right for you.

My first session

I offer a free 30-minute online initial session. This is an opportunity for us to meet, talk briefly about what has brought you to counselling and explore what you might be looking for from therapy.

You don't need to prepare anything or know exactly where to begin. I may ask you a few questions about yourself and your current situation, and there will be space for you to ask me questions too.

Most importantly, this first conversation gives you a chance to get a sense of how I work and whether you feel comfortable talking with me. Finding a therapist who feels right for you is an important part of the process.

If we both feel that working together could be helpful, we can then discuss the next steps and arrange our first full counselling session.
