About me and my therapy practice
Philippa Hobson is a counsellor and psychotherapist working with individuals experiencing work-related stress, bereavement, anxiety or depression, as well as those who may feel stuck, are navigating a period of change or simply want some time to reflect.
Her approach is integrative, drawing on a range of different theories such as psychodynamic and person centred modalities. Trained to MSc level, she works relationally, with an emphasis on developing a collaborative working relationship with her clients.
Before training as a psychotherapist, Philippa spent two decades working in communications and partnerships for not-for-profit organisations. With a particular interest in Creative Health, her research explores the role of material engagement and repetitive movement in somatic experience and embodiment.
