About me and my therapy practice

I believe that therapy is a two-way experience. I am humbled that my clients allow me to sit alongside them on their individual and unique journeys. My goal is to assist you in a non-directive, yet inquisitive and exploratory manner, giving you the ability to see what is going on for you and how you may move forward and encourage you to become curious about your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. As we connect and share the experience, we create change. I offer a safe, comfortable and private setting to explore your thoughts, feelings and challenges in your life.

I am a qualified integrative therapist, enabling me to employ various modalities to explore and understand your situation. This approach focuses on the present, making connections to past experiences that may affect your current life.

I offer intervention for families which include NVR (Non-Violent Resistance) for the parents (groups) and 1:1 Emotional Understanding for the Child/Young Person. Are you struggling with your child's behavior? Do you find it challenging to stand firm against physical or verbal violence due to a lack of understanding of Autism, mental health, or other factors? Are you struggling with your parenting style? You're in the right place; I can support you.

Practice description

Being able to understand our experiences is an important part of navigating uncertainty and difficult feelings. I use a combined approach called integrative counselling, what that means is we are going to use different approaches to support whatever you bring, and switch approaches when one approach isn’t working or has served its usefulness and to ensure that the therapy sessions offered are meeting the specific needs of my clients. This means that each session should be productive and fulfilling. This also applies to client perspective: because each client session is tailored to suit client’s needs, and it looks holistically at client’s needs and considers behavioural, affective, cognitive and physiological levels of functioning. This is non-judgmental way of working, you will be able to build an awareness between mind and body, empowering you to a better lifestyle or satisfaction check.
