Availability
I currently offer face-to-face counselling in Clapham on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.
Please get in touch to enquire about current availability.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer integrative and relational counselling for adults, with a person-centred foundation and influences from psychodynamic and existential perspectives.
My approach is collaborative and exploratory. Together, we can look at what feels difficult or unclear and, where relevant, consider the relationships, life experiences and recurring patterns that may be influencing how you feel or respond.
I value warmth, curiosity and collaboration, and aim to offer a therapeutic relationship where there is room to reflect, make sense of experiences and explore what may need to change.
Where it feels helpful, I may also use creative and reflective ways of exploring an experience when something feels difficult to understand or put into words. These are always optional and introduced collaboratively.
I have experience working with anxiety, low mood, relationship and family difficulties, loss and estrangement, loneliness, self-criticism, life transitions, recurring relationship patterns, and questions around identity and meaning.
I aim to offer counselling that feels thoughtful, respectful and responsive to what you bring.
Practice description
I offer individual counselling for adults, face-to-face in Clapham and online across the UK. Sessions are available in English and Portuguese.
Each session lasts 50 minutes and usually takes place weekly, at an agreed time. Counselling can be offered on a short-term basis, often around 12 sessions, or on an open-ended basis depending on your needs and what feels appropriate as the work develops.
Before beginning counselling, I offer a free 20-minute initial conversation. This gives us an opportunity to talk briefly about what has brought you to counselling, answer any questions you may have and get a sense of whether working together feels right.
Face-to-face sessions in Clapham are currently available on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.
My standard fee is £70 for face-to-face sessions and £60 for online sessions. A limited number of reduced-fee sessions are available at £40, subject to availability.
If you are considering counselling, you are welcome to get in touch to ask about current availability or any practical questions before deciding whether to begin.
My first session
The first session is 50 minutes and is charged at the usual session rate.
It gives us more time to explore what has brought you to counselling, any relevant background and what you would like support with.
I will also ask some initial questions to help me understand your circumstances and ensure that I can offer appropriate support. We will discuss confidentiality, how sessions will work, any practical aspects of our counselling agreement, and any questions you may have.
There is no formal clinical assessment to complete beforehand.
