About me and my therapy practice
My practice is a safe and welcoming space in Surbiton where we can make sense of difficult feelings and think about what has brought you here.
I have many years of experience working with adults from all walks of life and I understand it can be difficult to reach out for help. If you’re struggling and would like someone to talk to, get in touch to arrange a confidential phone call to see if psychotherapy feels right for you.
Practice description
Psychotherapy can help relieve symptoms of distress and anxiety and it can also help us to better understand and appreciate ourselves. By reflecting on our lives - in a safe place and in our own time - we can begin to make sense of longstanding struggles and create the possibility of meaningful change. While the reason for coming to therapy might be worrying feelings, a difficult situation or traumatic events, during therapy the scope of work opens up to include the past, this can help us to think about what is happening in the present.
My first session
The relationship between client and therapist is very important, so choosing your therapist is a big decision.
Once you have got in touch either by calling, emailing or filling in the contact form on my website, we will first arrange to talk on the phone for a free, no obligation 10-15 minute conversation.
If we decide to proceed, we'll meet for one or two 50-minute consultations, where we can talk about what is troubling you and explore how we can work together.
