About me and my therapy practice

Welcome and THANK YOU for viewing me!

Talking from experience I know there are times in life when we all need a safe space to be heard, understood and supported. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Do you feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, disconnected, or simply unsure of how to move forward?

I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and explore the patterns, thoughts and feelings that may be affecting your life.

As a qualified and experienced Humanistic Integrative Psychodynamic Therapist (and Author, Educator, Cognitive Coach & Workplace Mediator), I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey. Together, we can gently explore what lies beneath the challenges you’re facing, develop greater self-awareness and understanding, and work towards meaningful and lasting change.

My approach is compassionate, thoughtful and tailored to you—because there is no single way of being, healing or moving forward.

Life can be tough, but you don’t have to face it alone.

Practice description

My Approach

I believe therapy begins with feeling truly seen, heard and understood.

My approach is warm, compassionate and tailored to you. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all model, I draw on different therapeutic approaches to understand your unique experiences, relationships, patterns and needs.

Together, we can explore what may be holding you back, make sense of difficult thoughts and emotions, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. My aim is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, curious enough to explore, and supported enough to make meaningful changes.

I chose the name MBSTherapy because I believe in the powerful connection between the mind, body and our inner strength. When we begin to understand that connection, we can start to relate to ourselves and others in new and more fulfilling ways.

My Humanistic Integrative approach draws from a range of therapeutic models, including Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic Therapy, Self-Psychology, Gestalt, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, CBT and Internal Family Systems.

Most importantly, therapy is about you. Your story, your experiences and your journey.

My first session

If you’re considering therapy and would like to find out more, I’d be happy to offer you a free 15-minute consultation. This is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have, hear a little more about how I work, and discuss my service agreement. Most importantly, it gives us both a chance to see whether we feel comfortable working together and whether therapy with me feels like the right fit for you.

Student discounts are also available.
