About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling stuck, alone, confused or unhappy with your life? If you are struggling with feelings like these I can offer space to explore this. I am a qualified integrative therapist which means I blend different therapeutic modalities to best support you as an individual. We can work in collaboration to help you gain clarity and foster meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
Life is rarely a straight path and major shifts can leave us feeling out of balance. My counselling experience has focused on helping individuals navigate significant life transitions and changing family dynamics. I offer a supportive space for you to make sense of what is happening in your life and process the emotional impact of this.
Practice description
I offer a warmly neuro-affirming approach informed by my lived experience of being a parent/carer of an autistic child. My priority is to offer a comfortable, relaxed environment and I am happy to make adaptations.
I offer online sessions or face to face at an office at Biddulph Youth and Community Zone. There is free parking outside and my office can be reached via a ramp. There is also an accessible toilet in the main building. If you have any concerns about accessibility please give me a call or send a message and I can provide you with more detailed information.
My first session
I offer a free, 20 minute initial phone call with no obligation to book any sessions. If you would be interested in this please give me a call or send me a message. It is chance to see if you feel I am the right therapist for you and ask any questions you may have.
If you choose to book a session, during our first meeting, we will explore what brought you to therapy. There are no right or wrong answers, and you are free to share as much or as little as you feel ready to.
Equally importantly, we will talk about how you would feel most comfortable working together. Everyone’s journey is unique, so we will discuss your preferences, expectations, and any hopes or hesitations you might have.
Above all, this session is relaxed and supportive. There is no pressure to dive into anything deeply before you are ready—it is simply a chance for us to get to know each other and see how we can best work together.
