About me and my therapy practice

I firmly believe in the power of therapy. Real empathy, acceptance, and honesty create the conditions for change and expansion, enabling us to feel more open to possibility, connection and life. Together, we'll explore what's difficult - both from your past and present - and let go of what might be holding you back.

Significant memories are held in the body - including what you may have wanted to avoid or forget. Noticing breath, posture, and areas of tension can bring us closer to making sense of our experiences than words alone. As I get to know your history, I'll pay attention to patterns that may not be fully conscious - since our earliest connections often shape how we relate to others and ourselves in adulthood.

This kind of work requires courage - a willingness to meet the feelings that surface as we explore your inner world. In return, I offer a steady, curious presence without judgement.

Practice description

I am a qualified therapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I trained in Integrative Counselling at the Minster Centre, one of the longest-established and leading institutions in Europe, and continue my professional development through working towards Masters level. I have worked with clients of a wide ranges of ages, backgrounds and identities.

Fill in the contact form and we can arrange a video call at no charge to see if we're a good fit. You can give me an overview of the reasons you’re getting in touch; I'll explain my approach, what to expect, and answer your questions.

My first session

If we agree to work together, the next step would then be to coordinate schedules, agree on a regular slot and arrange the first session.

During our first 50-minute session you will tell me in more detail what's brought you to therapy, I'll ask questions and gather background information.

Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes, weekly, at a scheduled fixed time. I offer short-term work (minimum 12 sessions) and open-ended, long-term therapy. You can end therapy at any point - I ask that you tell me in advance so we can have at least two sessions to close the work effectively.
