Availability

In person:

My counselling practice is based in Salisbury, close to the city centre, with plenty of free parking. I have availability for in-person appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Online or by Phone

I tend to work in-person with clients but sometimes in-person therapy isn’t practical or possible. Some clients simply feel more relaxed in a familiar environment.

About me and my therapy practice

I have been working as a qualified therapist since 2003, supporting clients with a wide range of personal challenges.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred, relational, attachment-based, trauma-informed, and CBT-informed ways of working. In practice, this means I tailor therapy to you rather than expecting you to fit into one particular model. Together, we can find an approach that feels right for your needs.

I have a particular interest in relationships and the ways our experiences shape how we see ourselves and connect with others. Many people I work with find themselves repeating patterns they don't fully understand, struggling with boundaries, self-confidence, or feeling disconnected from who they truly are. Therapy can help you gain insight into these patterns and create space for positive change.

I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind. Therapy gives you the opportunity to pause, reflect, and make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

Practice description

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, while at other times it may just be a sense that something doesn't feel quite right. You might be facing a difficult decision, struggling with a relationship, going through a period of change, or simply wanting a space to think, reflect, and be heard.

Some people come to counselling wanting to understand themselves more deeply. Others are looking for support through a challenging period of life, or practical ways of managing what they're currently experiencing. Whatever brings you to therapy, we can explore it together with curiosity, compassion, and care.

Building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating a safe space where my clients feel truly heard and understood is at the heart of what I do. My aim is to help you develop a greater understanding of yourself, feel more confident in your choices, and build a kinder, more supportive relationship with yourself.

I work with in-person clients in a comfortable space at Enterprise House, close to Salisbury city centre. There is plenty of free parking and the room is wheelchair accessible. It is within easy reach of Wilton, Harnham, Netherhampton, Harnham, Old Sarum, Coombe Bissett, and the Woodford Valley

Getting started

Send a message, ring or whatsapp, whatever feels easiest

A free 20 minute consultation

There is no need to prepare anything in advance, just share a little about how things are for you at the moment. It’s an opportunity for us to see if we could work well together and there is absolutely no pressure or commitment

Your first session

We will go through things in more depth, and start sharing ideas about how we will work together going forwards

My first session

I offer a free 20 minute introductory telephone call, giving us an opportunity to get to know each other and for you to decide whether I am the right therapist for you.

During our conversation, you are welcome to share a little about yourself, what is bringing you to therapy, and how things are for you at the moment. There is no need to prepare anything in advance. Many people feel nervous about making that first call, and that's completely understandable. I will do my best to help you feel comfortable and at ease.

Together, we can explore whether therapy feels like the right support for you at this time and discuss how we might work together. There will also be plenty of opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.

For therapy to be effective, it’s essential to choose someone you feel comfortable with.

What happens after our first session?

If we decide to work together, we will agree on a regular weekly appointment time. Sessions are 50 minutes long and usually take place at the same time and on the same day each week.

Regular sessions provide a consistent space for reflection, exploration and change, helping to build the therapeutic relationship and support the process of therapy.
