About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative therapist providing a warm, confidential, and safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

My therapeutic approach is deeply collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis (TA). This means I place your personal experience at the heart of our work, helping you focus on the present moment, build self-awareness, and understand the patterns in your relationships and life choices.

I specialise in supporting adults who are navigating complex life challenges, including:

Addiction and recovery

Trauma, sexual abuse, and domestic abuse

Finding purpose, direction, and exploring the meaning of life

In addition to traditional therapy spaces, I offer the grounding benefits of outdoor walk-and-talk therapy across Oxford, as well as flexible online sessions. Whichever format you choose, we will work entirely at your own pace to help you process past experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life.

Getting Started:

Taking the first step can feel daunting, so I offer a free 20-minute initial assessment via online video call or telephone. This gives us a chance to connect, discuss what you are looking for, and see how we might work together. Please reach out to arrange a suitable day and time.

Practice description

Starting therapy is a personal journey, and it is important to know what your sessions will look like. I offer a down-to-earth, supportive environment where you can bring whatever is on your mind without fear of judgment.

Here is how we will work together based on the format you choose:

Walk & Talk Sessions: These sessions take place outdoors in tranquil, green spaces around Oxford. We walk side-by-side at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Movement can help ground you in the present moment, making it easier to process difficult emotions. If it rains, we have options: we can bring along an umbrella, or we can easily move the session online.

Online Sessions: If you choose virtual therapy, we will meet via a secure, confidential video platform. All you need is a private, quiet space where you feel comfortable speaking openly.

In our first full session, we will explore what brings you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and establish a pace that supports your goals. We will regularly review our progress together to ensure you are getting exactly what you need from our time. Whether you are looking for short-term support through a crisis or deeper, long-term exploration, my practice is shaped entirely around you.

My first session

Following our initial free 20-minute session, our first full therapeutic session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other better and establish how we will work together.

During this first session, we will:

Discuss your history and goals: We will explore what has brought you to therapy in and what you hope to achieve.

Establish a therapeutic agreement: We will talk through practicalities like confidentiality, session frequency, and cancellations so you know exactly what to expect.

There is no pressure to share more than you feel ready to. This session is entirely about making sure you feel comfortable, safe, and in control of your therapeutic journey.
